No subscription, no row limit beyond what your browser can comfortably handle, and no account required. The workbook is built with ExcelJS running entirely client-side — your headers and data rows are turned into a real .xlsx file on your own device and never uploaded to a server.

Numbers are detected automatically: type a cell as 42 and it's stored as a real number Excel can sum and average, not as text. Anything that isn't a valid number stays as text. This means totals, SUM formulas, and sorting all work correctly on the data you paste in, without a manual "convert to number" step afterward.

How to Create a Spreadsheet on PdfMeta

  1. Name your file. This becomes the downloaded .xlsx filename.
  2. Name the sheet. Defaults to "Sheet1" but can be renamed to anything — "Q1 Budget," "Contacts," etc.
  3. Enter column headers. Comma-separated: e.g. Name, Email, Phone, City. These become a bold, colored header row.
  4. Enter data rows. One row per line, values comma-separated, matching your header order.
  5. Add more sheets if needed. Use "+ Add Sheet" to build a multi-tab workbook, each with its own headers and rows.
